T.L. Hanna Varsity Yellow Jackets defeated Indian Land Varsity Warriors 9-3 on Saturday at Indian Land High School thanks in part to five runs in the second inning. Sam West drew a walk, scoring one run, Phifer Glenn singled, scoring one run, Cesar Ochoa was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Jackson Robinson singled, scoring two runs.
Indian Land Varsity Warriors jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after a dropped third strike scored one run, and Matthew Better singled, scoring two runs.
Will Mayfield earned the win for T.L. Hanna Varsity Yellow Jackets. The lefty allowed two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out one and walking five.
