TL Hanna Boys Basketball swept Mauldin at all three levels this week. Varsity Boys Basketball rebounded from a loss Tuesday to take down Mauldin. Kaleb Allen led the charge with 17 and Brice Wiersma had 14, but the Yellow Jacket defense led the charge has Hanna turned an 11 point deficit to a 14 point lead by the 3rd quarter.  TL Hanna C-Team basketball won at Mauldin 56-27. Christian Dunkel had 10pts and Jusiah Pitts had 14pts as the entire team played well in a total team win by the Jackets. TL Hanna JV Boys won tonight in overtime at Mauldin 42-37. Taveon McMillian scored 5 of our 9 points in OT to lead Hanna to the win. Other scorers: D. Hanna 12 pts, C. Price & K Strickland added 8 points each. ...

Congrats to TL Hanna's Lucas Wiersma on being named to the SC Basketball Coaches Association Carolina's Classic All Star Basketball game. Lucas will compete with other all stars in the contest March 21st at Dorman High School representing TL Hanna one last time....

TLH is proud of girls lacrosse coach Jason Stiles for being named coaching for the 2026 North/South All Star game. Coach Stiles has lead TL Hanna for 9 seasons, taking the Jackets from 7 wins in his first 3 years to 39 wins and 2 region titles the last 3 years. In 2025, the Yellow Jackets won their first ever playoff game and advanced to the Upper State Championship match. ...

TL Hanna Varsity Wrestling picked up a 46-33 win over Hillcrest to claim the schools 2nd region championship in school history. Head Coach Lance Abernathy has now led the Jackets to 2 region titles in the last 4 years for a program that started wrestling in 1977 and had never won a region crown before 2023. In the dual vs Hillcrest, TL Hanna used three straight wins by Logan Alf, Anthony Varrichio, and Evan Hobbs to race out to a 28-5 lead after 5 matches. The Jackets then turned to seniors Derek Harrison (150), Jimmarion Boston (175), and Kavon Cole (190) to get pins and clinch the region championship. TL Hanna wrestlers Jackson Scanlon, Manse Land, and Jayden Blake all showed tremendous heart in losses that saved valuable team points by not getting pinned by their opponents. ...

Senior Kamiyah Christian hit the 1000 career point mark in the Yellow Jackets home loss to Greenville on January 20th. Christian is in her second season at TL Hanna after beginning her career at BHP as an 8th grade basketball player. For the season, Christian is the Jackets second leading scorer and one of the top players on the team in three point field goals made. Christian will be recognized at a ceremony later in the season for her accomplishment. ...

The TL Hanna Varsity Boys Basketball team dropped a top 5 matchup with defending state champion Greenville 85-73 at home. Lucas Wiersma scored 23 and Kaleb Allen poured in 22 as the Jackets fell in the home matchup. The Varsity Girls team fell to Greenville 61-50. In that matchup, senior Kamiyah Christian hit the 1000 point mark for her career. In JV Boys Basketball, TL Hanna fell at Greenville 40-36. Darius Hanna led the Jackets with 12 and Demiyus Thomas added 10 in the loss. In the Freshman Boys Basketball game, TL Hanna defeated Greenville 47-40. Cannon Campbell had a big game for Hanna scoring 16, with Parker Brookman adding 12 in the road win. ...
