TL Hanna Varsity Boys Golf picked up the Upper State Championship title today at Star Fort Golf Course with a 10 shot win firing 281 (-7). Although the Jackets are 3x defending state champions, this is the first Upper State title won by the golf program since 2005.
Erik Erlenkeuser turned in an outstanding round of 5 under par 67 at Star Fort to help lead the TL Hanna to the Upper State Championship, followed by Cal Harbin who just missed his career low round with a 68 (-4). Bennett Scaletta finished 71 (-1) and Wilson Cauley (75) and Bryce Ritter (76) rounded out the scoring for the Jackets. TL Hanna advances to next weekend's state championship in Myrtle Beach.
