The TL Hanna varsity wrestling team remained undefeated in region play with a pair of wins Wednesday night. The Yellow Jackets started the night off with a big win over Woodmont 48-27. Jackson Scanlon, Logan Alf, Will Grant, Evan Hobbs, Derek Harrison, Manse Land, Jimmarion Boston, Kavon Cole, and Malachi Miles picked up wins for Hanna.
In the win vs #3 ranked Greenwood, TL Hanna closed the match out with pins in 4 of the final 5 matches by Boston, Cole, Miles, and Scanlon to pull off the upset. Other bouts won by Hanna were by Alf, Anthony Varrichio, Evan Hobbs, and Harrison. The Yellow Jackets move to 5-0 in the region and will host Hillcrest and Mauldin next week with a chance to win just the second region championship in school history.
