In the TL Hanna win for third place at the Lexington Roundball Classic over Christmas break, senior Lucas Wiersma reached the 1000 points total for his career. Wiersma became the 19th Yellow Jacket to reach that milestone in school history, and the first since Jaquarious Patterson did it in the 2023-2024 season.
At his current averages, Wiersma will have a chance to move up as high as 7th or 8th all time in school history in total points scored.
A recognition will be done for Lucas before tip off of the boys next home game on January 9th when they face Greenwood in a region game. Tip off is anticipated to be 7:45 PM that evening.
