TL Hanna would like to recognize head coach Michael Darazi on qualifying for the 2026 Cross Country World Championships.
Darazi will represent Lebanon in the world championships as a member of their world team. Darazi travelled to the country in early December and run in their national championship meet, placing top 10 to earn his place in the World Championships. This was the second attempt for Darazi to make the world team.
When asked about this accomplishment, Darazi said, "This has been a goal of mine and I am extremely grateful to reach this goal as I near the end of my competitive career. I am excited to run in the worlds and get back to TL Hanna for track season this spring. We have a great group of kids that I love to share my running knowledge with. I tell them constantly that 'I can give you the utinsels, but I can't make you eat'. We have a great group of distance runners who are buying into our program and I can't wait to see the improvements we continue to make in the years to come."
