BILLY AND BRICE WIN CORN HOLE TOURNAMENT

Billy Hall and Brice Chapman used a strong performance in the semifinals and finals to run away with the title at the 4th annual Adaptive PE Corn Hole Championship. Hall and Champman finished as the only pair to go undefeated on the night, winning all 8 of their matches, including scores of 10-3 in the semfinals and 11-6 in the finals.

The event was hosted by Coach Taylor and Coach Collins who are both in their first year leading the class. The field was a field of 52 competitors that featured all state TL Hanna athletes in a variety of sports, parents, teachers and the Adaptive PE students and mentors.

Defending champions EmmyLou and Cristo showed up to defend their title, but were defeated in the semifinals by Nick and Trent. Nick and Trent battled back from an early loss to win 5 straight to advance to the championship match before falling to Billy and Brice.

Special Notes from the event:
1. Special Wives- Coach Taylor's wife and child showed up early to help set up, Coach Bell's wife set up drinks and CRUMBL cookies, and Coach Collin's wife attended the event on her anniversary and earned extra brownie points with the athletic department.
2. Three former Adaptive PE mentors showed up on break from college to participate in the championship event.
3. Coach Jayden Abernathy is an up and coming football coach and a great teacher at TL Hanna, but he struggled in corn hole, going winless in his 7 matches.
