The TL Hanna Varsity competition cheer team saw their bid for a 6th straight region championship come up short by 3 points in a loss at Mauldin. The Yellow Jackets performed well facing adversity as their music went out 10 seconds into the performance, forcing them to completed the 2:30 routine without any music. The second place finish was an outstanding accomplishment with this obstacle to overcome.
All Region cheerleaders for TL Hanna include: Brooklynn Fuller, Lanique Whitfield, Ella Grace Clary, Katie Sanders, Neeci Hunter, KK Strickland , and Kailyn Stukes.
The JV Competition Cheer team turned in their strongest performance of the season in their season finale to take home first place honors at the region championship.
The varsity team will now turn their attention to the State Qualifier meet on Tuesday at Spring Valley.
