BOYS SWIMMING HAS HIGHEST STATE FINISH

The TL Hanna Boys Swim team set a new school record with their 5th place finish at the AAAAA Division 2 State Championship meet on Saturday, October 11th. The previous best was a 6th place finish by the boys in the 1999 season when swimming was a brand new sport in the state of South Carolina.

Clay Crosson turned in an outstanding day with 2 top 10 finishes in individual events to lead the boys. He placed Top 10 in the 200 IM and the 100 Breaststroke. Pablo Macias-Martinez also turned in a top 10 performance in the 100 Butterfly to oace the Jackets.

Also competing for the Jackets and scoring points in this historic performance were Jack Zarrouf, Myer Smith, Lawton Haygood, Kenny Crosson, Bentley Melvin, Sebastian Macias-Martinez, and Cauldin Bays.
