YELLOW JACKETS ROLL OVER WESTSIDE

TL Hanna turned in a record setting performance as they picked up a 49-20 win over rival Westside on the road tonight. According to TL Hanna football historian Frank Alexander, the 49 points broke the record for the highest total points scored against the Rams, eclipsing the 1998 score of 46. The Yellow Jackets moved their all time lead in the rivalry series to 48-20.

Touchdowns for Hanna were scored by Elijah Grimes (2), Brock Cole (2), Jaylon Watson (2), and Emari Nance. Defensively, Walker Kelley, John Michael Tripp, and Jameerion Oliver sparked a great defensive effort that held Westside without a score after the Rams had taken an early 13-0 lead until they scored a touchdown with under a minute to play in the game.
