SCALETTA BREAKS GIRLS GOLF SCORING RECORD

Senior Marissa Scaletta first a 5 under par round of 67 on Day 1 of the May River Invitational to break the 18 hole scoring record for TL Hanna girls golf. The previous record, held by Ivy Schulze (2021) and Marissa Scaletta (2023) was a 68.

Scaletta's efforts helped the TL Hanna team tie the 18 hole school record team score of 307, which was set two weeks ago at the Rebel Invitational. Scoring for the Jackets were Serra Erlenkeuser (71), Sierra Schulze (79), and Hanna Erlenkeuser (90). Both scores for the Erlenkeuser sisters were career low rounds for them as well. The 307 team score placed TL Hanna in first place, heading into day 2 at the very difficult May River Golf Course at Palmetto Bluff.
