TL Hanna girls tennis teamcompeted in the toughest tournament in the state this weekend and came away with a 4th place finish. The Yellow Jackets started off the weeked with wins Friday night vs North Myrtle Beach (6-0) and Saturday morning vs Daniel (6-0).
TL Hanna moved out to the semifinal against eventual champion Ashley Hall, dropping a tough 5-1 match that included the Jackets losing two matches in third set tiebreakers.
On Sunday, the Jackets dropped a hard fought match 4-3 to Trinity Christian school in the 3rd place match. Josie Eskridge, Meri Drake Venturella, Emery Tripamer and Lauren Yaekoub all went 3-1 on the weekend. Melina Moncada Lema and the doubles team of Emry Smith and Karis Kim both picked up two wins on the weekend.
TL Hanna will be back in action on Thursday when they host BHP in and varsity/JV match.
