The 3x defending State Champion TL Hanna Varsity Boys Golf team capped an amazing 24-25 season by finishing 4th place at the PGA High School National Invitational Tournament in Pinehurst, NC. The three day event featured 52 of the top teams in the country, with TL Hanna finishing with an overall score of 3 under par. The score for the Jackets left them just one stroke out of a tie for runner-up in the event.
The team fired a 6 under par round on Day 3, led by Erik Erlenkeuser's 5 under par round of 67. That score backed up a one under par day 2 team score for the Jackets that was led by Bennett Scaletta's 5 under par round of 67.
Individually, Erik Erlenkeuser finsihed the tournament at 7th place overall with a score of 7 under par. Bennett Scaletta turned in a 3 day total of 3 under par to finish 19th overall. The tournament filed consisted of 313 golfers. Cal Harbin played three days and finished with a score of 8 over par.
Graduated seniors Caden Olsommer (-2), Landon Smith (+4), and Blake Heard (+13) each played two rounds for the Jackets to help round out the team scoring.
