The TL Hanna Girls Golf team turned in an outstanding 11th place performance at the PGA National Invitational meet in Pinehurst, NC on July 14-16th. The Yellow Jackets earned an invitational to this National Championship event by winning the state championship in October of 2024.
The Yellow Jackets fired rounds of 319 on Pinehurst No. 7 on Monday, 320 on Pinehurst No. 6 on Tuesday, and finished up with a 324 on Wednesday at Pinehurst No. 1 course.
Individually, the Jackets were led by rising senior Marissa Scaletta who finished 9 over par to place 33rd. Serra Erlenkeuser was 20 over par to place 63rd, while Sierra Schulze was 23 over par to finish 74th. Graduated senior Olivia Wallach turned in counting scores in rounds 1 and 3, while rising freshman Hanna Erlenkeuser played outstanding in round 2 to post a counting score for the Jackets.
